Macro Photography in the Rookery
8 August @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am
An event every week that begins at 8:30 am on Saturday, repeating until 15 August, 2020
The team at Streatham Common Co-operative (SCCOOP) have been kind enough to invite us into The Rookery Garden for an an early morning photoshoot.
We’ll have the opportunity to capture these beautiful gardens prior to general opening. This will allow us to socially distance as well allowing us to photograph the garden without disturbing others.
Phil Moran will lead this event and will be doing a session on macro photography. We can then all put learnings to use!
SCCOOP are looking to showcase The Rookery as part of RHS London in Bloom. Therefore with your agreement, the images we capture could be used as part of a winning submission!

What you’ll need:
- A camera – any camera. Film, camera phone, DLSR
- If you have a macro lens, great! If not, don’t worry
- A tripod, flash or reflector may be of use if you have them
- Most importantly, a sense of fun and creativity!
This is going to be held on the mornings of 8th and 15th August at 8.30am – 9.30am and we’ll meet outside the gate of The Rookery, next to the cafe.
EventBrite details are shown below and there is no charge for attending this event. This will be restricted to 10 attendees only per event for reasons of social distancing.
