I am a fine artist and jeweller, creating representational work inspired by the world around me.
My paintings often begin with the familiar and the everyday — a still life of objects from my home, a portrait of a friend, or a scene from my immediate surroundings. At the moment, I am particularly fascinated by SW4 and the neighbourhoods around where I live, finding inspiration in the places, people and small details of everyday life. I recently discovered gouache, a wonderfully humble yet powerful medium, and it feels like finding a long-lost friend. I love its simplicity, versatility and the way it allows me to capture the character of the world around me.
