Carry is a Chinese Brush Artist and Teacher, born into a respectable family of Huang receiving traditional education and calligraphy training in Taiwan. I now live in South London with my family. Her artwork is often associated with the use of ‘Four Treasures’ including ink stone, ink stick, brush and Xuan paper. Between my teaching work and family, I regularly exhibit with art groups including South London Women Artists, Sprout Arts and Calligraphy and
Lettering Art Society. I also lead talks and workshops at gallery, museum as well as corporate venues including Horniman Museum, British Airways, Sub Sea 7 and appears at Dulwcih Festival and BrockleyMax Festival. As a member of Royal Society of Arts, my future work seeks to collaborate with organisations to promote calligraphy art by exhibiting, teaching classes and giving talks.
