Bren creates a wide range of pieces by fusing glass in a kiln, her favourite being pictures:  landscapes, seascapes and scenes which tell a story, prompted by daily observation. The influence of L.S. Lowry and his “stick figures” can be seen in some of them.

The design of plates and bowls is more often the result of inspiration gained from the beautiful colours and streaks of a specific piece of glass. And small seasonal items such as tree decorations, t-lights, pendants, coasters and small dishes are a useful way of making use of the remains from the larger glass sheets needed for the pictures.

Bren has had her glass exhibited and sold in the Mall Galleries, St James, SW1, in Sprout Arts SW16, the Woodfield Pavilion SW16 and annual Streatham Festivals.  Some of her work can currently be seen in Cornercopia in the Streatham High Road.
