After my art Foundation year, I discovered sculpture and went on to study full time for the next three years at Chelsea & Kensington Adult College to HND.
I am currently endeavouring to narrate and express visually, human feelings and relationships.
The medium I prefer is plaster, which I have been working with for many years. I like the natural elements of the material, and enjoy investigating more contemporary ways in which it can be implemented. Applying plaster to various mixed media has allowed me to create space within the figures and breath a lightness and movement into them.
Although I have specific concepts for my pieces, I enjoy the different ways these ideas can be interpreted, which allows the viewer to identify with my pieces on an individual level.
