Saturday 12th October – Sunday 20th October – Weekends 11am-6pm / Weekdays 11am-5pm
This exhibition has been carefully curated by artists, Sophie Cook and Henrietta Roeder to create a show which connects the community and draws attention to an interesting group of local painters and printmakers.
Featured artists include Martin Grover (known for his screen-prints of local parks/commons and the witty ‘Everybody Knows this is Nowhere’ bus stop sign), Nick Maroussas (regular exhibitor with the Warbling Collective) and Annabel Robb (exhibitor at this year’s RA summer exhibition).
The private view is on Saturday 12th October from 6-9pm and all are welcome for a drink and preview.
The Woodfield Pavilion is also hosting Streatham Festival’s ‘ARTISTS’ SILENT AUCTION’ in aid of the Woodfield Project and SYCT (Streatham Youth & Community Trust). Over 30 artists taking part in the festival have donated a 10 x 10cm canvas which will be auctioned throughout the festival (12th – 20th October). The works will be displayed at the Pavilion where secret bids can be placed in a box, winners will be announced by email when the festival closes.
